I purchased these because I bought a similar-looking pair from Target last year and the material already wore a hole completely through on both boots near the heel. I thought since this is a style that can be worn often, I should invest in a higher-quality pair.
I would have given them 5 stars, but thought they could be a little more comfortable. Not that they hurt my feet, but I took a long walk in them this weekend and one of them was rubbing a lot on the back of my ankle, so be sure you wear high socks (I probably shouldn't have been wearing ankle socks anyway). In addition the sole could be cushier... I just think a 5 star shoe should be pretty darn comfortable.
Other than that they're great and I'll be wearing them often!
