After seeing a coworker's cute shoes and hearing that they were Crocs, I decided to explore [...] for my own pair. I found these Kaela shoes ordered a size 8 through their website (I normally wear an 8.5 and was disappointed to learn that these are only offered in whole sizes). I got them in the mail and they felt a little snug, so I called several Croc stores to see if they had the Kaela line in stock. One store did and sold me a size 9 (with free shipping). They also accepted a 20% coupon I found for their online store, so that was pretty sweet!

I just got the size 9 today and, sure enough, I am between an 8 & 9. The 8's are very snug and the 9's are a little loose. So, they do run true to size. I tried on one of the size 9 shoes with another ballet slipper from my closet and it felt the most comfortable, so I'll be keeping the 9's. Plus, I can wear them with socks or stockings during the winter months.

I do recommend these shoes. They are very comfy (with and without socks/stockings), lightweight, and I think the shoes are waterproof. The faux-suede trim doesn't look like it'll be damaged by water--it looks and feels more like cotton than suede. If Crocs offered half-sizes, I'd give these shoes 5 stars.
