I needed a comfortable shoe for trekking around St. Maarten. Bought these in the only color available to me, "Mango", a color I think is better associated with the fruit than my feet. That having been said, they did the job remarkablely well. I have a wide foot. I went up the half size and they molded to my foot quite nicely. More arch support would have been nice but I was able to walk around comfortably for extended periods of time. Upon occasion it sounded as though I had a woopie cushion inserted in the shoe. Also, pool side they are perfect. When walking on the beach however, they immediately become the "roach motel" for sand."Sand checks in and it doesn't check out." I love that they are less chunky looking than past crocs. For the important stuff, fit and comfort, I would recommend these shoes, just not for a walk in the sand.
